Cable-Knit Wool Pullover

A full-sleeve pullover knitted by hand in thick sheep wool from the Kumaon hills. The front carries a single column of cables, worked stitch by stitch on straight needles. The wool is dense and slightly coarse to the touch, the kind that softens with wear and holds warmth through a hill winter. Fits close at the cuffs and ribbed at the hem.
