Molela village, Rajsamand, Rajasthan
In Molela, potters have long made hollow clay plaques of deities and village scenes for shrine walls. This plaque follows that tradition: figures raised in relief from a single hand-pressed slab, fired to the warm brick red of the local clay. The back carries a loop for hanging. Each firing shades slightly differently.
