A pretend cookset in the old Channapatna manner — little pots with fitted lids, a ladle, a rolling pin and board, tumblers — all turned from ivory wood and finished in soft lac colours of vegetable origin. The pieces are chunky enough for small fingers and light enough to carry around the house in an armful, which is how they are usually played with.
